Our 2012 Leaders' Conference will take place from Monday 8th to Wednesday 10th October, at The Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick. More details will be given soon.

Below are the details from the recent 2011 event:

FIEC Leaders' Conference
2-4 November 2011, The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick

The FIEC Leaders’ Conference was a great opportunity for leaders in FIEC churches to come together under God’s word, share fellowship and strengthen our identity as a gospel movement of local churches that longs to see our nation won for Christ.

The Conference included Bible ministry, practical training and the opportunity to discuss the work of the Fellowship. It incorporated the FIEC Annual General Meeting and provide an opportunity to meet the FIEC Trust Board.

Plenary Sessions
Our conference theme was ‘Fight the good fight: Gospel faithfulness in the contemporary world’. Every generation has to defend the church against false teaching that would deny the apostolic gospel and undermine gospel ministry. John Stevens, the FIEC Director, spoke from 1 Timothy, about what it means for us to stand firm for the gospel in our generation.

Evening Celebrations
Our evening meetings were an opportunity for spiritual refreshment as we gathered to give glory to our God in praise and worship and to hear from his word. Johnny Prime, who is the Pastor of Enfield Evangelical Church, preached from Hebrews on the theme of ‘Jesus our High Priest’.

Schools of Free Church Ministry

Delegates will be able to choose from a number of Schools of Ministry which will give practical help and training in key areas of church ministry. They offer the chance to learn from some of the leading practitioners within our constituency. Delegates need to choose one School that they will attend during the conference. Each School will consist of three sessions. For more information about the range of School options please click here.
